As a Non-Denominational Christian Church, our faith is rooted in the infallible Word of God, the Bible. The following principles represent the foundational truths upon which we build our ministry and daily lives:
Our Call to the Next Level of Faith
Our church name reflects our conviction that God calls every believer to continuous spiritual growth and maturity. We believe that to achieve the Next Level of your Faith is to heed the Apostle Paul's instruction and example:
Philippians 3:14 (NIV) "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
We are committed to providing the resources, teaching, and community necessary to help you press on toward that high call.
1. The Creator God
We believe in one God, the sovereign, eternal, and all-powerful Creator of the universe. God is the architect and designer of everything seen and unseen, and He holds all of creation in His loving hands. He is the ultimate source of truth, life, and love.
2. Creation and the Nature of Humanity
We believe that God created humanity, beginning with Adam, and saw that he needed a companion. Therefore, God created Eve, a helpmate and companion, establishing the first family. Humanity, created in God's image, has intrinsic worth and dignity.
3. The Sanctity of Marriage
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as ordained by God. As established at creation, we hold that marriage is a sacred covenant relationship exclusively between one man and one woman, with God at the very center of that union.
4. The Fall, Salvation, and the Resurrection of Jesus
We believe that after the willful rebellion (the Fall) of man, humanity became separated from God. However, God's love for the world He created is infinite and unwavering:
John 3:16 (NIV) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross as the perfect and sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the world. Furthermore, we believe that He conquered death and was resurrected from the grave on the third day, securing our redemption and guaranteeing eternal life for all who believe. This resurrection is the supreme validation of His identity and power.
5. The Role of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who lives within every believer upon salvation. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Counselor, and Guide. He empowers us for Christian living, gifting us for service, leading us into all truth, and producing the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. We believe the Holy Spirit is actively working today, equipping the church to carry out the mission of Christ.
6. Divine Healing
We believe in the power of Divine Healing today. We affirm that physical, mental, and spiritual healing is provided through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. As the Bible says, it is "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We believe in praying for the sick and trusting God to manifest His healing power in our lives and in our church.
7. The Ordinance of Water Baptism
We believe that water baptism by immersion is an ordinance commanded by Jesus Christ for all believers. It is an outward declaration of the inward change that has already occurred in one's life through faith in Christ. Baptism visually symbolizes our union with Christ: being submerged represents our death to the old life (burial), and rising up out of the water represents our new life in Him (resurrection).
